Some people think that because I’m confident that I don’t struggle with doubt.
Sure. Ok. I am confident. I show up as myself.


AND I struggle with doubt!

I worry that I’m not gonna get where I want to go. That I’ve hurt people along the way.

I worry that I don’t know what I’m doing. That I can’t really help my clients.

I think a little dose of doubt makes me reflective; it inspires me to excellence & hard work.

I want to start my business, buuuut

I want my business to stop sucking the life out of me, buuuuut.

But..I don't have time.

Some Stories Keep Us Safe

I spent a lot of time with my mom’s best friend Beverly. She told me this story about someone who was once driving on the freeway behind a semi-truck carrying a load of used cars on a carrier trailer. Well, something happened where the carrier broke and the cars ended up killed this person Beverly knew of.  

I realized on my way home, I still have that story in my head. I still have that anxiousness that I feel towards these trucks. My response is to drive safely and aware of my surroundings. Now, I’ve never seen one of them topple over....

When I realized I needed to make the changes that my nutritionist had suggested, I understood quickly that I didn’t know HOW.

I’d go the grocery store & wander around thinking, What the hell is gluten? Will I never eat another piece of bread again?

And then, Is gluten in other foods - not just bread?

THEN came NEGOTIATING with myself: “Ok, well it’s Sunday. I’ll just have pasta today and start over again on Monday.”
